Looking for a suitable candidate for your rental property yourself can be a time-consuming and expensive affair. You often have to place advertisements, make time for viewings, draw up contracts, hand over the keys, etc. You often also receive responses even though the living space has long been rented out. K&P Makelaars is happy to take this off your hands!


Below you will find a clear overview of the work we carry out for you as standard:


  1. Inspection of your living space, so that we have a clear idea of what kind of living space it concerns and in this way we can present it to prospective tenant(s) as well and realistically as possible. During the recording we can give you advice about your property.
  2. You can make your wishes and requirements regarding candidate tenant(s) known to us, after all, it is your living space.
  3. We ensure that your home is selected number of real estate agents is offered.
  4. In accordance with your wishes and requirements, we make a pre-selection of candidate tenant(s) for you.
  5. If there are candidate tenant(s) who are interested in viewing your accommodation, we will arrange the viewing. You can of course be present.
  6. If the prospective tenant(s) are interested in renting your accommodation after the viewing, the prospective tenant(s) must provide the following information:
  • copy of identification
  • employer's statement
  • bank guarantee (for self-employed persons)
  • parental/guardian guarantee (for students)
  • proof of DUO (for students).

You always have the final vote!

  1. If you agree with the prospective tenant(s), we will take care of the legally well-founded rental agreements, which can be adapted to your wishes.
  2. On your behalf, we will arrange the discussion and signing of the rental agreement with your new tenant(s).
  3. We will collect the first rent and a deposit (usually equal to 1 month's rent) from you. This will be immediately transferred to your (postal) bank account. From the 2nd payment period, the tenant pays you directly.
  4. The rental agreements will be sent to you for signature, together with the antecedents of your new tenants. You also sign the rental agreements: you keep 1 copy for your own administration and you send the other copy to your new tenant.
  5. Together with the rental agreements, you will be sent a clear invoice so that you can see what amounts we have received for you.
  6. Finally, an appointment has been made for the key transfer and the mediation has been completed.
