This is the privacy statement of K&P Makelaars BV, located at Westersingel 4 in Groningen (hereinafter: the “Broker”). This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data of our customers, potential customers and other persons who visit our website or have contact with us.

The Broker is responsible for the processing of your personal data and will exercise the utmost care and of course comply with the rules arising from the GDPR and other laws and regulations.


Personal data that we process, basis and purposes


Customers


If you engage us to rent out a home, we request that you provide us with the following personal data: • your name, address, gender and contact details such as your telephone number and e-mail address; • the description and characteristics of the home;


We process this personal data, and other data that you voluntarily provide to us, to assist you with the rental of your home. The basis for this processing is the execution of the agreement you have entered into with us.


We ask you for a copy of your passport or ID because we are obliged under the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft) to identify our customers on the basis of the original ID and to record its details. We make the BSN number illegible because there is no legal basis for processing it.


If you engage us to rent a home, we request that you provide us with the following personal data: • your name, address, gender and contact details such as your telephone number and e-mail address; • the search profile with your housing requirements, including the maximum purchase price or rental price that you want to pay; • a copy of your passport or ID, in which we make the BSN number illegible; • if you are interested in a home, we may request that you provide additional information requested by the landlord, such as pay slips, bank statements, employer's statement or proof of study, guarantee from a parent or guardian;


• after you have rented a home: your new address and the transaction details;


We process this data, and other data that you voluntarily provide to us, to assist you in looking for and renting a home. The basis for this processing is the execution of the agreement you have entered into with us.

Payment details


If you place an order with us, we also process data required to send an invoice for the services provided by the Broker and to receive payments (such as your bank account number). The basis for this processing is the execution of the agreement you have entered into with us.


Potential customers




We also process personal data of potential customers. We record the following information about visitors to our website who complete the “call me” option offered there: I• name, address, telephone number and e-mail address;


We process the data that they leave with us for potential customers who contact us in other ways - such as by e-mail, telephone or by handing over a business card. This concerns the contact details you provide to us and the reason why you contact us (for example because you have a question).


We use the contact details you provide to us to contact you if necessary, for example to send you the results of a viewing or to answer a question.


Analysis Website visitors


Finally, we process analytical data about (the computers of) visitors to our website, via cookies that are placed when you visit the website. These cookies store (part of) the visitor's IP address.


How long do we keep your personal data?


Administration


We keep our administration, including invoices and other administrative documents containing your personal data, for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in order to comply with the tax retention obligation. Copy of passport We keep the copy of your passport or ID for a period of five years in order to comply with the retention obligation in the Wwft. Other contact details We retain other contact details unless you submit a request to us to delete them.


Analysis of website visitors


The data about website visitors is stored for two years after the visit to the website, these are the standard settings of Google Analytics.


With whom do we share your data? We may provide the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described above. For example, we use external parties for: • our software solutions (via our CRM system Pararius office);• taking care of the accounting;• Office365We have made agreements with these parties (processors) to ensure the security of your personal data.


We may also provide your data to third parties if you request us to do so. For example, we can provide your data directly to the current tenant of the home you rented, for example, regarding the takeover of inventory or, for example, a key transfer.


We do not provide your information to third parties, unless we are obliged to provide certain information based on applicable laws and regulations, for example to the police in the context of a criminal investigation or, for example, to the tax authorities.


How is your data secured? We have taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access by third parties. In addition, we have also taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures with our ICT provider.


What are your rights? You have the following rights:a. The right to inspect your personal data and receive a copy thereof.b. EDR will provide advice on your creditworthiness and contact details based on this information.
